Arrival of the container and installation of the equipment in the clinic.
After patiently collecting all kinds of medical and surgical equipment, we have been able, thanks to your donations, to buy the missing material essential to the good functioning of the project in Haiti.
The latter was collected, packaged, and placed in a 40-foot container (12m x 2.60mx2.40m) filled to the brim by a team of volunteers. This first shipment left Geneva February 22, then arrived at the port of Antwerp on February 29 for a long, long crossing! Finally, after a routing 2 times longer than expected (thank you Hapag-Loyd!), The container joined Port -au-Prince on April 29th. The delivery of the equipment in the premises of the foundation was made on May 11th) Thank you to the team who conditioned the material: no breakage is to deplore! Our thanks also to the local team for so quickly emptying the container of these 6.5 tons of material and proceed with its storage.
